About Us

Founded in 1988 in Tampa, Florida, Commercial Design Services (CDS) is one of the country’s leading full-service contract dealers of office furniture, furniture systems and modular interior solutions.

With a customer-first philosophy and relationship-driven approach to every project, CDS has a dedicated team of designers and project managers on staff. Once the furniture or modular interior package is ready for delivery, our in-house installation team will oversee all aspects making sure that everything is set up and functioning properly.

CDS is a privately held company with offices in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee. Each office includes a spacious showroom and warehouse facility.

Project Teams

Account Manager

Your account manager is your primary contact and will be your guide throughout your project. Account managers work with clients directly while working in the background with the other members of your team. They are your go-to person for anything you need throughout the course of the project.

Designer

Account Managers work with a member of our design staff when projects require more than a simple quote. The role of the designer varies by project, but can include the following services: Space Plans, Product Review & Specification, Renderings, Furniture Install Documents.

Sales Support

Our support team members are responsible for order entry and tracking. They work directly with manufacturers and your account manager to ensure that your product delivery is sequenced correctly and arrives on time. We will all work as hard as we can to meet target install dates and general timelines.

Project Managers

Our Project Managers coordinate the installation of your products and oversee the installation process. They are tasked with keeping your installation on schedule and reporting issues that arise. They will also work with your account manager to handle any damage or potential warranty claims that may arise.
